On A Shoestring Website
On A Shoestring was developed alongside Cracking Awaba, to provide online access to information about the SHOROC oral history project documenting the lives of residents of Manly, Mosman Pittwater and Warringah during the Depression and 1930s. In 2007, On A Shoestring won the "Accessing Culture – Library & Information Services” category of the 2007 Local Government Cultural Awards. It builds from the book and brings to life a wealth of memories and local images, with soundbites from interviews and downloadable content.
